Pineland Park Estates is known for its big wooded lots offering privacy and tranquility, but still convenient to Madisonville / Mandeville restaurants / shopping and close for Causeway commuters. There are approximately 152 lots, most of the ½ acre size. The entrance is just beyond Franco's Athletic Club on Hwy 22. The children of Pineland Park Estates can attend Pontchartrain Elementary and Tchefuncte Middle Schools, both of which consistently rank at the top in statewide test scores. Also, Cedarwood Primary private school is nearby.
The typical home in Pineland Park Estates has 2000-3000 square feet living area, and the Acadian style was very popular in this woodsy, natural setting. The subdivision is not located within city limits, but is served by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and like most of our subdivisions served by private utility companies.
