was one of the first master planned developments in the Mandeville and Covington area. As you travel down Greenleaves Blvd., and see neighbors enjoying the jogging paths, you will see nicely identified entrances to different sections of the subdivision. This results in a plan of mostly cul-de-sacs with less drive-by traffic. Each section contains homes of compatible size and price range, but never of similarly look-alike design. Like most of our popular subdivisions, Greenleaves features custom homes built by a variety of builders. The individual neighborhoods can be as small as 20 lots in Greenleaves Wynntree to more than 150 lots in Greenleaves Plantation. There are more than 600 residences in Greenleaves, as part of the Greenleaves Homeowners Association, and there are approximately 130 homes in an area sometimes referred to as "Greenleaves Lakes". However The Lakes is a separately managed, gated community which is located at the end of Greenleaves Blvd., or accessed via Lonesome Road. The Lakes shares a manmade lake of approximately 27 acres, which was engineered by controlling a natural bayou running through the area. Supplemented by artesian wells, the flowing lake is a protected reserve for wildlife and native plants. Residents can enjoy the serenity of the views.
Thanks to Greenleaves Blvd., residents can choose to exit heading toward Mandeville for the Causeway Bridge, or toward Hwy 59 for I-12 to Slidell and beyond. And near the back end of Greenleaves Blvd, they can bicycle to the Tammany Trace recreation trail. For more information about any of all of the Greenleaves neighborhoods, please contact us.
