Del Oaks has a wide contrast in homes, which makes it impossible to name a "typical" size and price house. Everyone has the use of the private park area and boat launch, leading out to the scenic Tchefuncte River, and onward to Lake Pontchartrain. The subdivision is minutes away from Fairview Riverside State Park. And all homesites enjoy large wooded lots, nearly 150 now. Most of the homes were built in the 80s, but there is still new construction occurring. Let us be your guide, we offer location maps, public school information and photographs.
The children of Del Oaks can attend Pontchartrain Elementary and Tchefuncte Middle Schools, both of which consistently rank at the top in statewide test scores. Also, Cedarwood Primary private school is nearby. For family recreation, Franco's Athletic Club is across Hwy 22.
