Living in Chateau Village offers many opportunities for social occasions, including a neighborhood Mardi Gras walking parade for the kids!! The homeowners association produces a newsletter of events, and a neighborhood roster. Construction in the development was started in 1990 and still sees new homes added. A typical home might contain 2400 square feet of living area.

Let us be your guide: we offer location maps, public school information and photographs. The utility services are provided by the City of Mandeville. The children of Chateau Village can attend Pontchartrain Elementary and Tchefuncte Middle Schools, both of which consistently rank at the top in statewide test scores. Also, Cedarwood Primary private school is within blocks of the subdivision. For family recreation, Franco's Athletic Club is a few miles down Hwy 22.
