Audubon Lake borders a man made lake of approximately 27 acres, which was engineered by controlling a natural bayou running through the area. Supplemented by artesian wells, the flowing lake is a protected reserve for wildlife and native plants. Residents have private launches for canoes (no motorized boats), and can enjoy the serenity of the views.
